Operation Restore Hope |
Exact date unknown - Somalia The Battalion and two units (yet to be identified) deployed to Somalia as part of Operation Restore Hope, an American military operation with the support of the United Nations which was formed to deliver humanitarian aid and restore order to the African nation of Somalia which was suffering from a severe famine, general anarchy, and domination by a number of warlords following the collapse of its Marxist government. |
Exact date unknown - Fort Hood, TX The 64th MP Company (Guardians) were reassigned from their duty station in Germany to Fort Hood to join the 720th as the Battalions 4th company. |

Joint Task Force Bravo |
Exact date unknown - Honduras The 410th MP Company, approximately 120 strong, was deployed from Fort Hood, Texas, to Central America at the Tacan Mountain radar site, Soto Cano Air Base, Comayagua, Honduras, to join Joint Task Force - Bravo (formerly Joint Task Force-11. During the deployment the 410th MP Company assignment was to perform a security and law enforcement mission. The company also conducted team certification, squad lanes, and ARTEP in a field environment. The MP’s also participated in some humanitarian projects that were not part of the original deployment mission. |
