Photo G3649: A local child from Phuoc Cang Village in Bien Hoa Province of III Corps Tactical Zone, Vietnam at the temporary Highway-QL15 Baily Bridge constructed over the Buong River to replace the former reinforced concrete bridge destroyed by Viet Cong Sapper’s on 22 September 1968.  The black rubber bucket on the original guardrail to the right was used by the A Company MP’s of the Bearcat Detachment’s Highway Patrol, to wet down the concrete abutments to assist the curing of the concrete in the heat of the day.   Courtesy of SP/4 Neil Vetrano, A Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, 1968-1969.
