Chavis, TAOR Platoon Leader of B Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade examines a 100 pound U.S. M107 155mm high explosive howitzer round hung in a tree growing on the bank of the Buong River in the Battalion Tactical Area Of Responsibility in Bien Hoa Province of III Corps Tactical Zone, Vietnam on 13 October 1968.
