Photo G1514: Marble Mountain in Da Nang, Military Region-I in 1972. Marble Mountain is located 7.5 miles southwest of Da Nang, and is also called the site of 5 elements or the "Mountain of Water." Legend has it the 5 mountains were egg shells left by a dragon. There are many caves with historic Buddhist temples for pilgrims.
