Since joining the Army, he has been stationed in Fort Hood, TX, where he served as a Gunner in the 64th Military Police Company, 720th MP Battalion. He deployed to Baghdad with the 64th Military Police Company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 04-06, and was awarded Soldier of the Deployment. Upon his return he was assigned to the 178th Military Police Detachment, where he currently works as an Investigator.
SPC LeBlanc’s military education includes; WLC, Military Police Investigation School w/ honors, Combat Lifesaver’s Course and 250 hours of Correspondence Courses.
His civilian education includes 15 semester hours towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
Some short-term goals are to attain the rank of Sergeant and to earn his Associates degree. Some long-term goals are to achieve his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and to become a Detective with the Chicago Police Department.
SPC LeBlanc’s awards consist of; Army Commendation Medal (w/oak leaf cluster), Army Achievement Medal (w/oak leaf cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War Terrorism Sservice Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon.
SPC LeBlanc is single with no children.
