Photo B0102: The troops assigned to the civil rights riot suppression and security duty at the State University in Oxford, Mississippi during the Christmas and New Years holiday season were billeted in small tent cities at the National Guard Armory and Municipal Airport. With the city off limits to all troops except those on official business, the troops had to entertain themselves.
